Ha ha, I got a new ride, Dodge Durange 99 SLT!!!
I'm sorry if you think I talk about BMX.

He uses much fuel then cars sold today.
Dumping was so bad because of the suspension system.
So what? I just like its looks and it can load 5 people with 5 bikes!!!

A news on TV was talking about their experiment about children favorites of cars with 20 children; the choices were Lamborghini or Prius.

It was incredible, the most of children chose Prius!! They must be new generation.
I might be an old man....

I'm starting packing lots of my belongings for the departure.

I really liked life in Tokyo, even my apartment is small and old,
Tokyo is expensive place and my bag were stolen two times on streets.
I love where I lived, all who were with me, what we done !!!

Testing "Cam caddie"

I tested my hand made "Cam cadie".
We found some bad points on it; Because of small distance between Grip of the cadie and camera, sometimes I pushed some bottons even I didn't intend to do.
But the cadie is globally OK and much better than without it.

Another point is too less sensitivity of camera sensor, so it is hard to film it at night and cam lights may be needed.

The following is just our first trial of filming, it is terrible though.
We'll get better next time!

I am thinking of taking riding movies just for enjoying myself.
But my small movie cam is difficult to be held with one hand.

Then I found "Cam caddie" on Internet.
But the price is $100 even though the most of parts are made by plastic!

So I made a my Cam caddie by myself with 2 pieces of parts sold in a camera shop. It cost about $30.

I will try it tomorrow !!!

I went a bike shop and checked E-comet tires

because my tires were almost worn out and I was looking for good ones.

But, I deflated honestly. The sidewall of E-comet seems too thin for grind on curbs.

So I gave up to use them

Hey, somebody already tried e-comet already?

I tried reverse 180, Feeble to smith at a curb, Double peg on a rail, front peg tap on a pole during 180.

Also, I was really enjoyed to take pictures. I usually use a 50mm lens(EF 50mm f/1.8 II) for BMX and it describes kind of raw feeling photos because nothing is deformed as above photos. So I really like it and want to catch cool moment with my boy.

Just for your info cause many of us are always looking for hub guards that fits to our hubs.
One of my friend introduced a new shadow hub guard on the proper.
They are perfect lookin' and function, I think.

The shape of new shadow's new Rant hub guard was changed to like shadow's Raptor hub guard.

Looks more clean (No slit on the guard)

But this guard is not perfect for Primo N4.
Because of thicker hub guard than original primo's lock nut, the center of the tire shifts bit from the center of the front fork.

Just I went ride and tested New lens(EF50 f1.8 II), it was likely to rain though.

This must be good for taking street riding for the features;
- Good focal length (50mm)=> Good length for who doesn't use a tripod. I like this range of the length and don't like fish eye things
- Minimum aperture value (1.8) => Easy to freze the riders move on photos
- Light weight => I don't care so much though
- Cheap(Less than $100) => That's the most important point!!

Zorg bikes Brand new hub guard is now launched.
It looks so inovative and clean design.
The idea seems to be same as Grind guard of G-sport,
but Zorg one must be more robust because of material and the way of attachement.

Acctually, I used G-sport one, but the Insulok or Soelace for fixing the guard was easily broken. For Zorg one, bolts & nuts are used for fixing hub to spokes, so it must be much better.

I will try to get one !!

I realy like its simple shape and robustness
but I could not find any good hub guard fitting nice to N4.

Actually there are some (G-Sport, Super star...)that can be used for
but they are bad look and have some problems...

I gonna try to use a hub guard that are designed for another specific hub.

I went ride after work but I got flat tire again after I made about 5 times grid as warm up.
My rear tire, animal ASM-R seems not to suits my nabe.

Around my city, is many place there are fragments of broken glass.

So animal tires picks up the fragments on tire cause it is almost slick design and its compound is little too soft.

As a results, my tire got many cuts like below photo and sometimes got punctured.

So I've replaced the animal to ODDY/path k lite temporarily.

That must be OK, but I wonder if there is cool, tough, lite and not so expensive tire.
I hope Primo launch some Kepler tires.

I love riding BMX on street cause I'm pure-minded rider.

What I wanna say is that racing or other sports such as basketball are little severe for me.

(I used to play basketball in high school team thogh...)

Those sports are too competitive and I need to beat somebody up if I do them.

But street riding is really different.

I don't need to fight with somebody, just I do something what I wanna do.

It's really simple and I love it. Also chilling out with my frends is fan.

So almost 80% of my free time is BMX street riding.
